Ranch Updates

I really need to get with it and be more regular with my blog updates. I have just been so into Facebook these days.

The foals are now being weaned and doing well. Experiencing getting baths, regular leading and seeing things, and being handled a lot. I look forward to them going to show homes at some point. They will make great performance horses.

The new barn is coming along. It's been a long process but coming closer to being complete. Buckwheat will like his new stall and stuff I am sure.

Buckwheat continues to do well at all the shows and is up for some year end awards for local circuits. He cleaned house at the Western States Congress in Idaho. We hope to go back to the ABRA World or the Congress or some other large ABRA shows in Oregon or New Mexico next year or the following year.

Mares Due Soon!

We have 2 mares due very soon! The first one is Im A Cowledge Star "Star", a 7 year old chestnut American Quarter Horse. If Star goes the same amount of days as last year she is then due on March 8th. The second is Shiny Leo Lynn "Lynn", a 6 year old bay American Quarter Horse and she is "due" March 24. Both are in foal to our fabulous stallion of course, SBR Formula One "Buckwheat" a dun American Quarter Horse. Please visite his webiste http://www.sbrformulaone.com/. We also have several outside mare planned to be bred to our stallion as well this year. I will post pictures of the foals when they arrive.
